Avas Flowers have a D+ rating on bbb.org, which I realized after I tried to cancel my order. I wanted to do something nice for my for Valentine's Day so on 2/1/2022, I ordered 12 red long stem roses, a red vase, a hilliium balloon and a card with a special greeting created from me to be delivered to her job on Valentine's Day. I waited all day on the 14th to hear the excitement from my wife regarding the surprise and when I did not hear anything from her when she was leaving from work at 3:50 P.M. which was 10 minutes before the time she was supposed to leave. I immediately got very upset. I attempted to call Avas Flowers and was immediately suggested that I utilize the online resolution due to high volume calls. When I went online, I selected to cancel the order and was immediately informed that the order could not be canceled. My wife stated that when she got home , she received a call asking if she was at the location where the flowers were to be delivered, and she informed them she was headed home. The florist offered to send the flowers to the house, and my wife agreed. The surprise was no longer a surprise. The rest of the night ended up being 3 additional calls to verify the address, and she ended up getting the gift at 9:30 P.M. I received an e-mail shortly after stating successful delivery at 6:00 P.M. which was a complete lie. It was not the 12 stem red roses I ordered. For $119, it ended up being an arrangement of different color knock-out roses that died in 2 days, and the card greeting that I composed was misaligned on the card. I apologized to my wife, and I learned from this experience to never allow a business to do something I could have prevented by doing it myself.

Called Friday, September 22 to have flowers delivered Saturday, September 23 because there is supposedly same-day delivery didnt get a call until Saturday night telling me that they cant deliver my flowers until Monday because they dont have anybody to make a bouquet I called in San Martine California to be delivered in San Martine California just to make it easy on the florist so they didnt have to travel far . My friend received a bouquet today that look like a five-year-old put together nothing like the picture had two roses in it and leftover flowers that they look like they got from the grocery store oh for the price of $97 that they charged me. The bouquet was supposed to be a special price but when I finally got to the checkout they Which was supposed to be free delivery big deal but as soon as youre going to check out they add on a $25 fee for I assume some five-year-old to put together this bouquet of flowersThat this company just scams people for their money *** flowers false advertisement on the same day delivery and lousy customer service. Heres a photo of what I ordered in the photo of what I got I couldve went to the grocery store and got a beautiful bouquet of flowers for well under $97 that looks 100% better than what they delivered absolute joke

My flowers were not delivered on my Aunts 78th birthday

My Aunt did not get her flowers until the day after her birthday at 9Pm, Customer service was horrible kept telling me they were delivered never would call me back with any updates , the delivery driver put the flowers outside on the ground of the nursing home...955**** was my confirmation They gave me a 12.00 refund for a 75.00 dollar bouquet they said it was for service..lol Neither me, my family and friends will use your services again.

Mislead by ad

I placed an order on Friday for flower delivery off of Avas florist. The reason I chose them is because I had Google for a local florist and they advertise as that, I was told the flowers will be delivered Saturday morning and I would get an email or text stating that. I get no email no text and no flowers delivered. So today Monday through calling the other local florist I was told it Avas not local and they hoped I would get my money back or the flowers. Thanks to this website I imagine they got a call or saw my report where I complained earlier and I got a phone call and guess what the flowers were delivered! But the misled part also was I paid $100 and I was told that the flowers would not be $100 that Avas keeps some money for themselves before they shipped out the delivery.

ORDERED FLOWERS FOR MY DAUGHTHER IN LAWS BIRTHDAY ON THE 27TH . GOT AN E-MAIL TODAY THE 30TH SAYING THEY CAN'T DELIVER. WHAT A SCAM...I CALLED A LOCAL FLORIST WHERE MY DAUGHTER IN LAW LIVES. THEY SAID AVIS GETS 60% OF THE MONEY AND THE POOR FLORIST MAKES 40%. WHAT A SCAM!!!

Flowers did not match the picture of what I ordered.

I ordered 6 centerpieces for a anniversary party back in March and needless to say that none of them matched or even came close to what I had ordered. They were supposed to be in tall vases but came in short, clear vases. The florist who delivered the flowers told me that she had only received the list of what kind of vase was needed and what specific flowers were needed a couple of days before the order was to be delivered. I thought that with all the good reviews that I would not have had a problem, but gues what, I did. I spent a lot of money on this order only to be very disappointed in what I received and it was too late to do anything about it.beware

Flowers were never delivered

I ordered flowers to be delivered. They were never delivered. I called and spoke to a rep who lied to me. That evening I got a notification of delivery. I called my daughter and she had not received any flowers. Your company is awful. I will never recommend your services.

My delivery was not made nor can you talk to any person to get the matter resolved. Worst customer service ever.

I have not received my order totaling 168.00 nor can I speak to a live person to get this resolved. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

I wrote the delivery was to be on June 7th, my friend's birthday. No one looked at that notation and the flowers were delivered yesterday. :( Not very pleased.

Birthday flowers were delivered a week EARLY. Obviously, no one looked at the delivery date. Please pay attention to details.

Didn’t receive anything. Took my money.

Didnt receive the goods. They had four days to deliver flowers on Mothers Day and failed at that. Almost impossible to reach someone live on the phone.

No flowers delivered

I ordered flowers and chocolate for Mother's Day the Thursday before. I even paid a rush fee. They were not delivered. But after wasting 30 minutes on the phone, I was told they had been delivered at 4pm the day AFTER Mother's Day. I demanded the rush fee be refunded. Then I called my Mother-in-law. No flowers. My 87 yo father-in-law wandered around the neighborhood... nothing. Once again on interminable hold. Do not waste your time.

Tracking order

I cant get through to a single person that can actually really me where my order is. And its been 3 days. It tells me Ill get an email and text and I havent gotten a single thing. I Just want my flowers delivered to my Mother. And a person would be nice to talk to not an automated system that doesnt tell me a single thing.

Misrepresentation by sales

Promised delivery on Saturday or Sunday. Monday and still not delivered. Customer service cuts you off after giving you the estimated delivery window. Won't let you talk to anyone

After ordering for $100, for Mothers Day, I got an email saying that plant was not available and I could pick a substitution. I called to cancel, reading negative reviews, and got a huge runaround.

They bait and switch, want you to order something else, are not professional, hard to contact anybody, and keep after you if you ask for a refund! Never again...Do not buy from them!
