Ok people, here is the deal with Ava's flowers. They are not a florist.
They are a web based company who collects orders and then forwards them to actual florists. They have no idea about which flowers are in season, quality, or care of actual arrangements. They know nothing about the florist they will forward this order to other than that they belong to either Teleflora or FTD. As a florist on the receiving end I can tell you that they take a cut of the money they collect from the consumer, rarely leaving enough to cover what has been ordered let alone the delivery charge.
We are the only company covering our town, which is often the case. If we reject the order because we don't have enough money to cover it, its too late in the day, or we don't have the right flowers in stock, it won't be filled, and the consumer is often not told this until it is too late for them to re order it elsewhere.
What can you do? Always Always Always order directly from a real florist.
Take a few extra minutes to make a phone call. Ask if what you are looking for is in stock and if same day delivery is possible. You will be so much happier with the end results and guess what? It will be cheaper.
You won't pay a "handling" charge. You usually won't pay extra for same day delivery. You will get what you pay for instead of paying ridiculous fees. Yes you will pay for delivery.
No we don't take coupons. We also don't mark things up or charge extra fees to cover these fake deals.
