Avasflowers - Ava's flowers are a dishonest scam. Do not ever order from them ! Cheats and liars.

Ava's Flowers lie about their return policies and they say they are local and send flowers from different States! So the arrive late and wilted or dead.

You would be better off sending a greeting card! Always look to see if the florist is really local. These people --CEO Matt Neuenhaus. Operate from New Jersey and Asia---What is wrong with Google giving them place of honor in ads to those who want to order local flowers.

They operate in every state as far as I ca see. They are not local and you will waste your time complaining to them. If anyone is starting a lawsuit against them I am in! Very disturbing people to deal with when you are sending flowers for a special occasion and they send junk!

And charge you after you have been humiliated by their shoddy goods, wilted or dead flowers. Can't anyone do anything about this?

Avasflowers Flowers Review

Flowers were delivered on day of funeral not two days or one day prior as I was told. They showed up at graveside the day of.

I also didn't get the color of flowers I wanted , which were to be yellow. I called customer service and couldn't understand the lady due to her accent. She kept repeating herself. No explanation other than that is what the funeral home wanted.

Avasflowers - Worst place to order flowers

Do not order flowers from there unless you want to be ripped off. I ordered purple flowers and they sent some random flowers with burgundy carnations.

I tried to get them to fix it and they said no that burgundy was close enough to purple that it was florist choice. so what I asked for wasn't good enough. They send whatever they wanted. wasn't same day like it said but it was the next day.

online they say that they are family owned and customer satisfaction but wont correct the issue or give a refund!! save time and money wasted and order from some where else.

Avasflowers - My worst experience !!!

Avas Flowers are a total ripoff. They delivered half dead flowers and charged me $100 for flowers that didn't last two days.

When I informed them with a picture they reluctantly offered me a $20 store credit. HERE WAS THEIR RESPONSE: I reviewed the photo of your arrangement and in my opinion I think the vase is much more elegant then the picture we have online and honestly I think the whole bouquet looks beautiful. I never complained about the vase. I am begining to thing this may be an automated computer response.

I was very disappointed! My boyfriend who lives 35 hours away purchased what he thought would be a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for valentines day.

It arrived early afternoon on Valentines day which was pleasing. Upon opening the flowers, I saw probably 2 dozen roses and was originally pretty happy with that. I knew the cold weather accounted for the fact that some of them weren't as "lively" as others. When I sent a picture of the flowers to my boyfriend thanking him for all the roses, he responded by telling me those were the wrong flowers and vase and everything.

I know sometimes florists have to substitute if they run out of certain flowers, but did they seriously run out of everything he ordered? I know roses are pricey so if that was the case, I appreciate them sending so many roses to make up for what they didn't have, so we both decided to let it go. Then I woke up the next day (and yes I followed the directions for proper care taking of the flowers) and the roses were completely drooped over and lifeless looking. I included pictures of before and after, and of what I was supposed to receive but didn't.

In the after picture, you'll notice I seperated the roses into 2 different vases in hopes of giving them more space and allowing them to open up more, because the vase that was provided wasn't nearly large enough. I understand mistakes happen and I am generally a very forgiving person because I work in a customer service environment and there is nothing worse than complaining customers, but it really upsets me that my boyfriend splurged and spent so much money and didn't get his money's worth.

ALWAYS use a local florist in the area! The big wire services are NOT florist and do not give all the money to them to fill the order, in fact, they only send half. NEVER use online services...call local and you'll never have this happen again.

Also, it looks like you didn't cut roses before putting them in water...need cut at first and every two days.

Avasflowers - Avas Flowers Never Again

So ordered roses for my wife on valentines day, paid $10 extra for delivery by 1pm for Feb 13-14. Never arrived.

Wife got call 8:30pm on 14th from Avas apooligizing and said would get extra flowers and $25 box of chocolates first thing on Feb 15th. Well midday they arrived, half dead, no chocolates, and not even close to what i ordered. Some of the flowers were buds....not even flowers yet.

I didnt realize Avas is a big chain when ordering, do yourself a favor and order from your small local ma and pa store, youll be much happier. By the way.....trying to get ahold of an Avas representitive is a joke!

Avasflowers - Avas Flowers Horrible Experience - Ormond Beach

I ordered Valentine Day roses and they were not delivered until after 7 PM last night. We are located in Ormond Beach, FL.

When they finally arrived the delivery person merely put them on the porch and never rang the bell. How crude! We opened the flowers that were is a box, and noticed the flower petals were wilted and many had brown petals. They must have been riding around in the box all day without water.

We attempted to call them throughout the day to inquire about the status of the delivery and all we got was a deadend messages.

Think hard before you ever try to use Avas Flowers!!! There service is terrible and the flowers are horrible.

Avasflowers - Flowers Review

I ordered flowers to be delivered a week in advance, to a friend's work place, 1.5 mile from Ava's flowers. They were late with the delivery.

I scheduled the flowers to be delivered before 4:00pm. They were delivered at 5: 30pm and the flowers were DEAD. The next day Friday, I called and complained and was told they will send out The freshest flowers with an additional dozen of Roses. On Tuesday she received another set of dead flowers.

I called customer service and waited 20 minutes on hold, and nobody picked up the phone.

Very disappointed in Ava's flowers. Will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

Avasflowers - Dead Flowers

Ava's sent dead flowers arriving the day before Valentine's Day. The said they were using a local florist but obviously, they didn't.

They sent flowers from New Jersey to the west coast without water. When you look at the mailing label and return address, you can see they were sent from New Jersey. How can anyone think flowers will survive a trip from New Jersey to Nevada without a drop of water. Look at the pictures attached.

You will see that not only were the flowers dead or wilted, even the leaves and stems were dead.

They charged $60 for this set of flowers. They should have paid me.
