Avasflowers - Rip Off
My long distance boyfriend spent $50 on what he thought would be a 6 stem Peony Bouquet for my birthday. What I actually received was absolutely atrocious.
There were a few beat up daisies ( three had lost their heads COMPLETELY) and a couple bruised hydrangeas in an enormous box. The poor flowers were obviously thrown together and stuck in some ripped tissue paper. Not to mention, this company masquerades as local when they are not.
This company is a scam and should be held accountable to the *** service they provide. Please be aware of who you order flowers from and do not fall victim to these scammers.
Avasflowers - Accepted my money and did not deliver
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother on Christmas Eve. She received nothing, not even a card to show that they had been there, even though they claimed to have DELIVERED the flowers.
I requested a refund by email, and several DAYS later received a phone call at 7:30am on Saturday from a CSR who requested a call back. I called back the same day, and was told they would call me back in 10-15 minutes. They didn't call again for two more DAYS, and then told me they ATTEMPTED to deliver the flowers but that no one was home.
I was told that they would not leave the flowers unattended unless I requested this when placing the order, but of course there was not even an option for this.
Terrible results for the person I placed the order for, and terrible customer service experience after they screwed up. I will not be using this service again despite them offering a 20% discount.

I requested flowers be delivered the same day. I specifically went with Avas over the others because of same day service.
I called by 11:00 a.m. for delivery sometime that same day. The next day by 1:00 p.m. it was still not delivered.
When I called, they said I wrote a note saying to deliver the same day OR the next morning. I did NOT write that note as I wanted it delivered the same day and it was no longer the next morning.
When I called to complain, I was passed off to 4 different people and it took 1 hour to speak to someone who said too bad, it will be delivered when it is delivered. I will never do business with Avas Flowers.

This florist is a scam, they charged me for flowers I ordered and never delivered the flowers. DO NOT use this florist.
When I tried to contact them I made six phone calls and never got to speak to a person, every time I was put on hold waiting for a customer service rep. HAHA they never answered. The sad thing about using this florist was that I was sending flowers to my sister who lost her husband.
I didn't need this kind of aggravation at a time like this. I will be contacting the BBB to report this company.

I ordered flowers for my mom on the 22nd of December today is Dec 27 She never recieved them yet. I spents litterally hours on the phone trying to get satisfaction.
They even screwed up and sent flowers to me I wanted my money back They wanted to send her the christmas bouquet this many days after Christmas. By the way they said the flowers had been delivered when they most certainly were not. Terrible communication I was told they wern't allowed to give me info on where Avas was based. Guess what Ava you suck I will not ever use or reccomend you I love Jesus and I am really pissed my momma didn't give a Christmas gift because I trusted your same day delivery BS Good luck in the coming year Ava.
I know I am not the only who had this crappy experience.

Do not order from this company. Ordered flowers for a funeral and specifically called it in so the date and time of the service could be relayed.
I was promised an email confirmation. Not only did I not receive the confirmation but I have called them no less than six times and have received conflicting information each time. No one speaks clear English, you are put on hold for long periods of time and I have been told three different delivery times and no one has seen the flowers!!!! No one calls you back, managers are never on duty, computers are down, etc, etc.
Thank goodness I put this on Amex I am calling them next. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Avasflowers - AVAS FLOWERS IS A RIP-OFF
My order was never delivered. They will not reimburse me. They have made all types of
excuses -- including they attempted to deliver the flowers, but no one was home.
My order was balloons. The recipient is housed within an office building -- there is always a
receptionist on duty. I am not sure this is a legitimate company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS
COMPANY. I have demanded my money back and they will not comply. I have sent numerous
emails and phone calls and still no response. Speaking to the customer service representative
was also useless. The person sounded as if they had never taken a phone call before.

Charged extra money do Saturday delivery never delivered! Then lied an said they cancelled n refunded my money, the didn't!
Now won't refund m money because thy show no record of cancellation. Oh and they delivered the flowers not sat not mon but Wednesday the following week! Cowards keep shuffling me around n no manager has the bald to talk to me! I've heard of bad service but this isrediculous, I just want my money for product I didn't receive.

Avasflowers - Order Did Was NOT Delivered on my Anniversary
Ordered online from Ava Flowers for an anniversary. Never had used them before, but was convinced by the good ratings. The order was confirmed for same day delivery and was never received. I tried to get a status about the order during the day using the online inquiry on their website, only to receive automated email replies.
Not until the next day (day after the anniversary) and after I initiated a call to Ava Flowers did I learn that they had not sent the order yet because they "needed to get fresh fruit for the basket". Are you kidding me? What business commits to same day service for special occasions and fails a customer with the excuse that it took an entire day to get fresh fruit? What business involving date-sensitive delivery does not respond to customer inquiries with detail about the status and makes you call the next day?
They offered an apology after I got upset. They offered to upgrade the order for free or cancel the order. I chose to cancel the order. I figured that if I chose the upgrade, it may take them another day to get more fresh fruit.

I ordered flowers online for a dying relative. After the order was accepted I got the email below stating that they wanted another $6.99. I immediately sent an email saying that I would NOT authorize additonal charges and that they needed to cancel the order if they were not going to fulfill it as placed. Now I am on the phone, on hold, with "customer no-service. After about 10 minutes on hold and no service ,they said that they would have to call me back. I am not holding my breath.
"This is with regards your order for XXXXX XXXXXXX. I just want to inform that we need an additional $6.99 for Saturday delivery since the order that you placed is part of our farm fresh program that needs to be delivered via UPS/FEDEX. If you have any questions please free to contact us at 877-638-3303."
