I always search reviews, and thought I had the right company to send a dear friend some beautiful flowers. It said same day delivery, "sale" etc...ordered ($70) … no sign of response other than I did get the email that they got my money. Two days later as I feverishly tried to see if the flowers ever landed, I found out they finally did. Had someone send me a photo to see what she got. It did have the flowers in the photo, but the arrangement looked like it was put together by a 5yr old.. what a waste, other than it did bring her a smile.. so not sure what florist they used to get those flowers out there, but I sure won't go through them again!

I ordered a large dish garden to be delivered to my dear friend as a sympathy gift. It was supposed to be their largest and most elaborate dish garden with 8 green plants, including a white blooming lilly. They sent 1 blooming plant with tiny yellow flowers in a dollar store basket with a mismatched bow. Needless to say, I was embarrassed that it was sent in my name. I asked them to re-do the order or refund my order and they refused both requests. AVOID this florist!!

Bought a white funeral basket on a white stand with lavender flowers, upgrade sympathy ribbon and card for my aunts funeral in Santa Maria CA that I was unable to attend from WA. My daughters sent me a picture of the abomination that was delivered, a white basket with no lavender blooms at all, and droopy greenery and a sympathy ribbon just hanging from the greenery that you couldn't even read and the basket was not on a stand all, was just sitting on an old brown stool. It was humiliating to have my name associated with this pathetic product which was over $100 and not worth one thin dime. I have bought flowers for over 50 years and NEVER AGAIN WITH AVAS.

Its been over a week ,20+ conversations with multiple employees that are zero help and completely incompetent at there job. This is the worst transaction, customer service and experience I have ever had with any aspect of life .

I ordered two days before Valentines Day and the flowers were never delivered. I tried calling, the answer machine hung up on me. Tried email, it was returned to me. And on top of that they sent me a email ( I could not send one but they did) saying they are refunding my money. They refunded me 82.00 and the charges on my card was 137.99. What in the crap.

Cancel Order

I've called your distributor in the city (Cordele, Ga) where my order was placed and they said they canceled the order because of the inconvenience of my order not being there on the day I arranged and asked for. I tried to cancel the order yesterday but the customer service I called kept saying they didn't have any representatives at that moment. Not delivered on the day I arranged was very inconvenient. Now I'm being charged even after I want to cancel this order. Horrible customer service.

Don't Even Think About Doing Business with Them

I ordered flowers for my friend in Sedona on Dec. 20th thinking they were a local company. Mistake #1. I got confirmation from her on the 22nd that they were not delivered. I called Customer Service (obviously a call center sweat shop) and were told that they were delivered. But the person could not confirm a signature or a time, or even confirm where they were delivered. They said they would redeliver the next day with an upgrade and a 20% discount. Nothing. On the 24th they told me they'd deliver on the 26th. Still nothing. I left numerous messages with "George" and heard nothing. As of this writing I am on hold with them for 15 minutes trying to get a refund. It's probably one of their tactics, putting you on hold for 3 hours thinking you'll drop. I'm lodging a complaint with the BBB. If you want to post a review on Yelp look under the city of Mahwah, NJ.

Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AVAS FLOWERS

First off, when you call them, their phone messaging says that they are a local family owned florist. They are not. They are based out of New Jersey and contract with florists all over the country. We placed an order for delivery in Stroudsburg PA with them over the phone because we had a question about the picture. The person on the phone suggested that we place the order with him over the phone because "it will be picked up quicker" than online orders. He assured us that the arrangement would be delivered on the date we requested, the day before Christmas Eve. We had explained to him that they needed to be delivered that day because we didn't know if the recipient would be home the next day. He said that it wouldn't be a problem. Late in the afternoon of the day they were to be delivered, we called to verify that they would indeed be delivered that day. They informed us that all the florists are very busy, and we could not find one to complete your order on the day you requested. It was then that we learned that Avas Flowers is not a local family owned business. The person on the phone said that they would have the order completed the next day, Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve morning we get a text saying that it was urgent that we call them. This time they tell us that, not only could the arrangement not be delivered before Christmas, but that it would not be delivered until 2 days after Christmas. And again, they said that they called all the florists in the Scranton area. Yet, they charged our credit card. We had to cancel the order and are waiting to see if they credit back our money. They emailed us stating that the refund would take up to 10 days to be credited back to our card. However, after reading several other reviews, I have no faith that they will refund our money without a fight. Never do business with them.

Impossible to get human on phone. Computer-generated phone response will tell you a ticket was opened by *insert fake name* to address your concern. Money collected, product not delivered.
