Do not use!! Worst business ever

Initially I was told flowers were delivered the day I ordered. Then I received a phone call and told they were held up because the card was not signed but would be delivered in 15 minutes. No delivery. I called customer service every hour on the hour and they gave me the same written script over and over for two days. Then received a text that the flowers were delivered. Not true. They stated they would get verification and call me back. Like all the other promises to call back- nothing. I called my bank and opened up a fraud investigation.

This was the WORST experience in ordering flowers that I have every experienced. I would NEVER use Ava's Flowers again. I do not know who gives them all their supposed "awards" but it is not me! Flowers came broken, the service department unhelpful, and the whole experience was ABOMINABLE --Their so called support page has their explanation of delivery written out, that is true, but it is item #7 on the page and most on line shoppers go by the pictures and the statement that they deliver locally within the day. I did not know that they used UPS until the day of the delivery and the customer NO-serivce was very unhelpful.

AVA's Flowers is not what I would refer to as an honest company their service was horrible and the flowers that they delivered were broken --I am horrified that what was supposed to be an act of kindness has turned into such an upset. I would NEVER use them again and I strongly recommend that no one else uses them either.

Someone sent me Christmas Flowers!!!

I hate Christmas and all its commercialism and such. Someone had the gall to send me Christmas flowers and this company let them. I am so mad this holiday gives me very bad memories and I try to block it out of my mind. I was doing pretty good. During this time I don't listen to the radio or even watch tv. I try to avoid all things Christmas. But here on my doorstep was a bouquet of flowers - beautiful to some I guess - but in a Christmas them. Ugh - why did youi have to delivere them to me.

They tell you they have what you want just to get your money then send an email with a half as nice replacement they're going to send instead.

I called at 9 to make sure they had what I wanted before placing my order and giving my credit card information. At 1 they called and asked to change the color of 1 of the types of flowers, I said no that it would really change things. I was then told by her rest assure they will deliver exactly what I ordered. At 3:30 they left a message saying they don't have what I want so they're going to upgrade my order and send something else. I looked it up, it was far from an upgrade! I call in the morning to change it to something at least close to as beautiful as the first bouquet to find out after asking to speak to management that they don't deliver to the address in Winder, GA that I gave (yes it does say same day delivery in Winder on their web site!?) that they will outsource it and deliver farm fresh flowers in a box. With only 3 options of all daisies, all Lillie's, or roses I asked for a refund. Never did they offer to make an acception of delivery because they did take my money and guarantee satisfaction! After I was refunded I told the customer service manager that what they did was not ok and will make sure none of my family or friends use them because of their poor service and their lack of even trying to make right what they did wrong, she said I would've given you a discount and sent 2 dozen roses. Conveniently none of this was said before hand!! The bouquets on their site are beautiful, however that's not what really have. Luckily I ordered 2days early so I will look for a mom and pop flower shop and stick with them. There's something not right with outsourcing to smaller florists, let them get the business in the first place, they are more likely to really care about your satisfaction.

No Delivery on Christmas Day!!!!!

I am adamant that Christmas presents should be opened on Christmas not Christmas Eve or any other time but December 25th proper. This company would not deliver my gift of flowers on Christmas Day. They said they could deliver on Christmas Eve or the day after. I explained to them that those days were not Christmas and my gifts should not be delivered then. But they were so *** that they could not understand that simple fact. I was greatly annoyed that now I have to find some other gift to have delivered or probally have to go and deliver my gifts myself.

Total scam company. Don't use them!! False advertising. Did not deliver as promised and paid for. Disappointed that an important event was totly missed by their incompetence and worse, scam. This is a third party operation posing as a local florist. STAY AWAY!!!

I WAS SCAMMED!

This florist came up as a local florist in Novi, MI by funeral home I was sending flowers to. Person I spoke with even knew the funeral home address and assured me they were just down down the street. The arrangement was terrible. When I tried to resolve the issue I found out I was scammed. This was not the local family owned business as they represented, in fact they are not even located in Michigan. I was routed to a call center that I'm not sure is even in the U.S. I was charged more than the amount I was told. Now I've been on the phone fighting with then for 45 minutes. Did get a 50% refund but it took a lot to get there. BBB F rating.

Flowers for funeral not delivered

I ordered flowers on 1/2/15 for a 1/5/15 funeral. The online order offered a 1/3 delivery which was selected. On checking on the status, it was stated that the flowers were scheduled for "redelivery" but with no date given. Calling the toll-free number was worthless as it was a automated phone tree leading nowhere. The 24-hour customer service line appears to be an automated system that leads you in circles and finally to a dead end. I will be contacting the BBB. From this experience and other's postings, I feel that this company is a scam. Don't waste your money.

On Feb 1, 2014, I received Avas Flowers from my Neice for my birthday. The greenery was fine but, the flowers were all dead. I have received many flowersbut these were the worst flowers that I have ever received. I will ask my family not to use Avas again.

I love flowers but this holiday season I have received to many. They just keep coming and too many from this company. I do not have any more place to put them, they are all over the apartment and I am beginning to feel cramped in my apartment. STOP SENDING FLOWERS I do not need anymore. Block me as a recipient in your system. This is harassment and it is driving me crazy. I have already given away a couple of arrangements. If you keep allowing people to send me flowers I am going to have to take steps to stop you.

I had flowers sent to me in Florida that I was going to present to my daughter who lives in Maryland. The flowers arrived and where very pretty. I packed them up very carefully and put them in my suitcase. I then boarded a plain and flew to Baltimore. When I arrived at my daughters house I was all excited to give her the flowers. However when I opened my suitcase and my carefully packed box. The flowers were all wilted and some of them broken. I am seriously disappointed in the quality of the flowers that could noyt withstand a short airline flight.

Overcharged and delivered 3 days later wilted flowers

I ordered flowers from this awful swigglers that have the adocity to call themselves florists. First I told them I was ordering for a friend who's seven year old daughter is in the hospital with a disease she could die from. I wanted her to get a boutique of flowers with a bear delivered. I just asked them to make sure they were age appropriate. I didn't pick out the selection myself due to me ordering them on the phone, and not having the website in front of me. These bastards delivered the flowers 4 days late!!!!! They were supposed to be next day! Said they couldn't find bronson hospital! Really!? Then couldn't find her room. Also i went to see this little girl and then sent her one single rose and a 2 inch bear and charged me $57.00!!! I called and complained and they showed no sympathy and gave me a *** $10.00 *** in store credit!!!! what a *** rip off. Like I would ever use you again! Take your in store credit and shove it up your ***!!!!!

Not What I Ordered

Ordered table, all the way around, basket arrangement for a funeral, directly from the picture on their website. Told them I wanted it VERY colorful. Just came the funeral home where my arrangement was a ONE SIDED, not in a basket arrangement of orange roses, a few green carnations and two iris and filler for $60 plus their $13 "care delivery charge." When I placed the order, after asking for someone who spoke English well enough to take the order, I was assured it would be very colorful with many types of different flowers. Don't use this florist in Findley, Ohio
