Horrible flowers

I am so disappointed with Ava's Flowers. I ordered an arrangement for my nephew and his wife with the birth of their new baby. The order was placed based on the website picture. I ordered the upgraded flowers spending approximately $87.00. The flowers did NOT LIVE UP TO THE WEBSITE PICTURE! I feel taken! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Do NOT use this company.Flowers delivered were NOT quality flowers shown on their website and were NOT professionally arranged. Customer service Is terrible. Mismatch between picture and delivery

I chose a pretty arrangement of roses and other flowers. It combined lovely colors and it was quite voluminous. The party to whom I sent the flowers was kind enough to send a pix to my son-in-law and remarked on my thoughtfulness. However, when my daughter saw the pix, she knew how unhappy I would be and forwarded it on to me. WELL.....what a disappointment!!! I chose the deluxe selection and the result was a paltry copy of what I thought I would be sending. When I called to complain to the florist, I had the usual "press 1 for this..., etc" After pressing the appropriate button, there was no connection, but only a repeat of the options of buttons to push, and that went on for a few rounds. WOW....what a major disappointment!! It is always a bit of a risk to send flowers to someone in another state; this florist is not to be trusted!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a very special flower arrangement for my daughter and requested morning delivery for her birthday. I placed my order 3 days in advance. The flowers were finally delivered at 3 pm - I ordered the deluxe and I'm sure they delivered standard -half the size arrangement I paid for, and in a clear vase. I paid extra for an orange vase, and there were no balloons - and I paid for balloons. In my second phone call inquiring where the delivery was, I was told there had been a bunch of last minute funerals and they had flowers for the funerals and their delivery got priority over mine! I told the customer service rep I know that he didn't think I would believe that lie and he just got silent! After a 3rd call - this time because the order was not what I paid for, I got a 19.98 refund and a $20 credit for a future order. There will not be a future order with this florist and I requested they refund me that $20 but of course they refused. Pitiful service and I will never use them again! This is Ava's Flowers in Baton Rouge, LA.

I dealt with AvasFlowers on an arrangement that I ordered from online. The whole thing has been a nightmare!! But what I can say is the photo's depicted in their online products are not going to be what you get. All the flowers I can say yes I got but did the arrangement look like what I expected? Absolutely not!!! This has been a long drawn out process from 2/11 to today 2/15 and in the end, the only thing I can say is, their prices are too high, their customer service is a joke, their 100 % Customer Satisfaction they "WILL NOT" stand behind.

Delivered graveside flowers after the service, will not refund

Avas was contracted to deliver pall bearer lapel flowers and a large arrangement to a graveside memorial service. The family never saw or received any flowers. When we called the next day, they said: "Yes, our contractor delivered at 1:30." When informed that the agreement was for 10:30 am for an 11:00 am service, they "had to check". After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, they hung up. Their out of country customer disservice is always polite and obsequious, but never able to resolve anything. $369.00 is a lot to pay for a big pot of nothing. I advise any and everyone to not use Avas, and always use a credit card, not a debit card to pay, so that you have the CC company as a recourse.

The first photo is what I ordered the second is what was delivered for $108. They offered to rede liver to the funeral home the day after the funeral or a $20 store credit. After hours of negotiation they finally agreed tho refund $35 dollars. So I ended up paying $73 dollars for a $35 basket of flowers that was totally different than the one I ordered.

I ordered flowers for delivery 5 days ago which were never delivered. The only way to speak with a live person is to call and pretend you are ordering. The automated callback system never does actually contact you, and the customer service can only apologize. When asked for a manager, they can only apologize. On Day 4, they finally said the problem was fixed, called the recipient and arranged delivery, and still no flowers. I truly wonder if there even is a company, or if they just ripped me off for $70.00. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, but from reading their own followup with Ava's, they also were never able to get any answers on any of the previous complaints. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

My Flowers were not placed near the casket

I place an order for a funeral basket to be sent to the funeral service of a close relative.I was unable to attend the service but those who attended said the basket was placed in the rear of the room away from the casket. I am very disappointed that they were placed so far away from the deceased. I am sure that this is because the flowers were of poor quality and my relatives were just being nice other wise they would have been placed closer. Everyone knows that the good flowers get placed near the casket so your flowers must not have been so very nice.

Florists are not allowed to place flowers in with the deceased. They have to be left in the flower room and the funeral directors place them with the bodies. Placement doesn't mean the flowers were ugly, but that it was the decision of the funeral director to place them where they were located.

I will NEVER use this flower company again. I ordered flowers and they said they would give me an email confirmation when they were delivered. I never got one. I called the company 4 times in an hour time and each time I was put on hold, no one ever came to talk to me and the call was cancelled. I FINALLY got to talk to a person and they said they could not tell me if the flowers were delivered because their delivery people did not have cell phones! It's 8pm, the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered and I have no way of knowing if they ever were. Their customer service closes at 5pm!! NEVER use them!!!!

DO NOT order anything from Avasflowers !! Save yourself the aggrevation ! I ordered a very pretty and cheery looking Garden Pleasures Basket from them for my Sister-in-Law who just lost her Husband, needless to say i wanted something cheerful looking ! Well the Basket that they sent her was NOTHING like what I ordered !! It was a very GLOOMY looking arrangement, and she said that it didn't look very fresh looking, and it was wilting in places, the day it was delivered !! She sent me a picture of it and i could have cried !! I felt so Ashamed to think that she got that sick looking Basket from me !! I appoligized to her !! I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give me one ! They just credited me a lousy $10.00 and offered me $20.00 of my next order in the future, which I could care less about because I would NEVER order anything from them again ! They either have Kids working for them or someone who is Colorblind ! Please get the word out there that they are NOT Trustworthy and Very Poor business people !! They would rather Ruin their reputation than return my money !! Not the least bit accomodating ! ! The sad part is, that they e-mailed me back and AGREED that what they sent out was NOT what i ordered but did nothing about it !! I don't see why I should pay for something I DID NOT ORDER !! Lesson learned !

Plain Ordinary Glass Vase

I ordered a bouquet of roses for my lady friend with a vase. When I visited here after she received them I was miffed that the vase was made of plain ordinary glass. I paid almost 8 bucks extra for that vase and I expected it to be crystal or at least cut vase not something so ordinary. I think it a crime that for that very high price all you get is a glass vase. Seriously a plain glass vase, crystal can not cost that much more. I thought I was getting my lady something high class paying all that extra money but all she got was glass. She must think I am a cheapskate or something

Ordered flowers from what I thought was a local florist and they were supposed to be delivered that day. They told me I would get an email confirmation on the delivery. Two days later, no confirmation, so I called them and ended up in the web of corporate nonsense. After being on the phone for 16 minutes, Tony, of their customer support division, finally came on the line and told me they were working to resolve the problem. I told him to just cancel the order. I will see if I get the refund due me. I will never give them my business again. Don't be misled like I was.

Ripped off!!

You would be less frustrated, cheated and embarrassed if you took $77 and put it in the paper shredder than to order from these people. A tiny, poor arrangement that cost $15 in the grocery store was $77 online and the customer service representative could only say in broken English that there was no adjustments or refunds! Horrible experience. Every online site is full of complaints about these people. Please don't use them and let them go broke as they deserve to do! They contact a local florist and keep over half the charge so you get less than half what you pay for. Will dispute the charge after being treated so rudely!

I wanted to get 26 roses sent to my girlfriend on her 26th birthday.You know 1 rose for year. I called the company they had option for 2 dozen roses but they had no 26 rose bouquet. They said they could add two additional roses but would have to charge for each extra rose. Were they kidding they could not just throw in 2 extra roses. How cheap. I tried compromise I would pay for 1 extra rose if they would throw in the other one. No dice, I ended up paying for the extra roses and I have to admit when they were delivered they were beautiful.But I am still miffed I had to pay extra for more flowers.
