Unsatisfied Customer!

did not agree to a $25.00 refund. Avas Flowers ruined the day of my grandfather's funeral for me by sending this basic flower to the funeral home. I called the company one hour after this order was delivered to the funeral home in Phoenix City AL and expressed that I wanted the flower to be picked back up and my account refunded the full amount. I would have never ordered a basic flower as the one delivered to my grandfather's funeral. There was nothing distinctive about this flower to stand out and show that it was from his grandchildren. To top it all off, the company saw that I purchased this flower with a Michigan address and requested delivery to an address in Phoenix City AL and Avas Flowers required me to send them a picture of the flower that they had delivered. I did not attend the funeral however I called family members who were there and they informed me that there was no blue flowers, no blue and white bow and no banner that read "beloved grandpa" as I was promised by your company. I still managed to have someone send pictures so that I could send them to the company email at contacts@***.com and show that the basic flower that was sent me did not match the invoice of what I requested and paid for. I did not authorize payment for the flower that they sent to the funeral home. They were able to deliver same day and Avas were informed by me to pick the flower up. I was told by a supervisor (which was also the individual who suggested a $25 refund) that they had to follow procedures and that this would be resolved within the hour of my initial call, which was the dsmr day that the flower was delivered; 12/19/16. I had to call back the following morning 12/20/16 at 9am and this individual that I spoke with had the audacity to tell me that the only thing that was missing was the bow, the ribbon that was supposed to say "beloved grandpa" and the blue flowers. There was no stand for the standing flower basket either. I was also told that if the company does not have the exact flower they will use other flowers so that they are able to send something. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I should have been contacted to discuss any changes that were made to the original invoice/ order that I submitted. your company has ruined the moment for me of laying my Beloved Grandfather to rest.

Poor service an unable to get anyone on the phone

I am pissed off right now. I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's day and paid for express delivery. It is currently 1:32 pm and My wife still has not received her flowers. Express delivery showed it would be delivered before 1pm. When I called to check on it, I cannot get a human being to speak with me about the order. Answer services continues to hang-up on me and when I select call back, it wants to give me a time for tomorrow. I just called the order line and got someone on the phone, only for them to put me on hold then give me the same recording and it hangs up on me. This is extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone!

I would never order flowers from Avastin flowers again, my mother received the wrong arrangement a day late! The delivery person apologized but as to the whole experience, I received the worst customer service, I was shocked and dismayed! I was shammed out of nearly $100. They offered to pick up the flowers that where delievered, but declined to deliver the right order and declined givimg me money back, i was hung up on three times! It was a special opportunity to say happy birthday to my mother who lives well over 3000. miles from me that turned out to be the worst experience ever!

Ordered flowers on the 23rd for a funeral from Montreal Canada believing Avas was in Oakhurst California and being told they would be delivered that day. Five minutes after the order was finalized and we hung up, we received an email that the order wouldn't be delivered til the next day, that being American Thanksgiving we assumed that they would be delivered on Friday the 25th. We called a 1-800 number multiple times today that was always busy and then got on their website to track our order. The tracker said it hadn't been delivered yet and the funeral was this afternoon. We found another 1-800 number and were told it wouldn't be delivered til Tuesday after telling the lady on the phone that that was unacceptable she told us Monday. After ten minutes of arguing and them offering us a fifty dollar credit on a future order, we were able to cancel the order and hopefully the credit card will be rein burst!

Scam

I ordered a $90 plus flower arrangement for my ailing wife on her birthday. They have arrangement pictures online which appear fairly decent. The flowers were supposed to be in a large enough vase (I assumed) to accommodate the large arrangement with a yellow ribbon. Instead she received flowers stuffed into a small glass jug which made the flowers stick straight up like a they were glued together and no yellow ribbon. Fortunately, I have bought flowers from other agencies and we had large enough vases on hand. I immediately remover the small vase, replaced it and arranged the flowers and used a ribbon we had on hand. Avas Flower sent me a survey and I informed them of my dissatisfaction. Can you believe that they added insult to injury when they so much as called me a lier by requesting that I send them pictures. NO, NOT NOW, NOT EVER. Don't waste my time. Got better things to do. They have a lot to learn about customer service.

Late Service - Wilted Flowers - No Refund

I ordered a sympathy arrangement for same day delivery on 12/24/16, then received an e-mail that they could not be delivered that day, but would be delivered as soon as possible and the arrangement would be upgraded. I believed they would certainly do it on Monday - no flowers. I called on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. and said to cancel the order. They told me they could not cancel as the flowers were on the way and should be received any minute -- they finally arrived at 6:00 p.m. I paid over $100 and this was a supposed to be a deluxe arrangement, but it was very small and the flowers were wilted. Avas says they cannot give me a refund or send new flowers without a picture. I was at my friends house when the flowers were delivered, but returned home the next day - over 250 miles away. My friend dismantled the arrangement and just kept the roses as the rest of the flowers were in terrible shape -- no way to get a picture. They offered me a $20 credit - can't buy anything with that. Will never use them again.

I purchased a fruit/gourmet snack basket to be delivered 3 hrs away for next day delivery.. for a sympathy/funeral .. it was not delivered the next day. NOR was the basket as i ordered? The photo/basket i chose had all kinds of chips in it.. what was eventually received.. a day and a half later. Minus the sympathy card i paid $2.99 extra for.. with NO card identifying who it was from?? This company sucks!

The image on the left is what the flowers were supposed to look like. The image on the right is what they actually looked like. I can't believe I paid $80 to have a florist put this together. I could have had my ten year old nephew do a comparable job. Flower varieties are missing, and the green plants in the bouquet look dry and near dead. To top it off, I placed the order ten days before it was to be delivered, and never received a phone call about replacing the missing flower varieties. In addition, note that the vase was supposed to be a pretty pink, and I got an ugly, opaque, white one in its place. I will never get flowers through this shop again. Very poor presentation in my opinion.

Ordered a bouquet for my mother in law's birthday to be delivered to the school where she works. Paid $66 for the flowers and express delivery. They arrived on time, but looked absolutely nothing like the picture. I emailed customer service a picture, along with my complaint and was told that what I received met their standards. I will never again use this company. The fact that they said what i got met their standards tells you a lot about this company!

I ordered flowers on Saturday morning to be delivered later that day. They texted me to tell me the order would be delayed until Monday. I wanted the order cancelled but they told me they couldn't cancel it. I waited 20 minutes to speak with a supervisor. An automated message said someone would call back between 3:30-4 but no call. Now today, Monday, they called to tell me the flowers would be delivered Tuesday, and not only that, but they can't send the flowers I ordered. I am not making this up and I am so disappointed. I will never use this florist again. The quality is not an issue, because I am wondering if flowers will ever be delivered.

I placed an order online to have flowers delivered to a funeral. I got a call at 7:30 in the morning on Saturday (5 hours before the service) to say that I have to pay an additional $30 to have the flowers delivered. I called and was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then disconnected. I called back and got another service rep. The only options she gave me was pay the $30 or have them delivered to another city. After talking to a "supervisor" she offered to take $5 off. (Now the delivery charge had increased to $35) She then said we can deliver to another address but all of them are 20 miles away from the service. Really put me in a bind, but I wont tolerate the bait and switch.

The arrangement as terrible and didn't include the main flowers I had ordered - 3 SunFlowers. Then they added tons of daisies which were the same size as the Gerber Daisies that I had ordered. The flowers were unbalanced, not enough color without the yellow sunflowers and the arrangement was a big nothing - for over $80! When I complained, they gave me a $20 store credit, which I didn't want (and the Sunflowers were over $20) and subsequently a $10 credit card credit. This was insufficient as the arrangement embarrassed me as my representation at this memorial party I would never order from these people again - bad follow through and terrible customer service. Oh - they did get the arrangement at the party on time and the card was correct so I've given them 1 star.

I was very disappointed with the flowers i had sent to my daughter. I was also told the least expensive they had was $39.99. Right one there web page there are several listed at $29.99 and then to pay almost $20 for delivery and whatever else expense they added. I definitely will not order from here again. Almost $60, not worth it.

I ordered flowers amd a teddy bear for my mothers 83 birthday. She received it on time but instead of a teddy bear she got a white dog with a heart that says I love you. Not correcf for your mother. I called and got hung up on. They text me to call back. Spoke with a supervisor who told me she got a bear effectively calling my mother a liar. They wanted pictures of the stuffed animal sent to them. My mother collects stuffed animals and can tell a white dog from a brown bear. My God companies will do anything to make a buck

because Avaflowers bought out the local florist i had to go through them as i called my local florist who had automatic system that said i had to call the Ava flowers 800 number So on 10/20/2016 my friend (Joe) ordered flowers for me on My anniversary at 2:00 to be delivered to our family’s house. They were supposed to deliver at 4:00. They stated they attempted delivery at 3:00 which was false. After several attempts to find out where they are, they continued to tell me they were going to be delivered that day. Never happened. They then attempted to deliver the next day and my family members refused the delivery because they were supposed to be there the day before, and we don’t even live there – we were just visiting family that day. I then attempted to get a refund and they refused because they said the flowers were delivered and signed for. They said they were signed by my wife – who was 30 miles away at the time. They still have not given me a signed receipt with her name on it. They refuse to give me my money back. I am having them investigated for fraud. Forging someones name on a receipt is not only fraud, but identity theft. They could have avoided all of this by simply giving me a refund – but they are a company that relies on dishonest employees running a fraudulent business. Avas Flowers BBB rating is an F! This company is absolutely horrible! Please do your research before placing an order with this company.
